The Pehl’s Appliance Story – A Family Business
When you hire an appliance repair service you want someone who is empathetic to the urgency of your need and values your hard-earned dollar.
I was taught these values as a child when my father, Elmer Pehl, owned and operated Pehl’s Appliance Repair. We had a large family (12 kids) and that meant we all had to help each other out and be hard workers. I took this same work ethic into what I do for my customers.
Formerly Dean’s Appliance Service Inc
My father retired in 2006 and that’s when our friend Dean purchased my Dad’s appliance company. At that time it was renamed Dean’s Appliance Service Inc. He successfully owned and operated his company for 13 years. We worked together for about 3 years until Dean finally retired at the end of 2019.
Appliance Service with Family Values
Both my father and Dean had customers who really appreciated their help in deciding whether to repair or replace their appliances. I do my best to follow in their footsteps and make a recommendation that is in the best interests of each family.
This means making an honest assessment as to whether the repair would be cost effective and reasonable. I endeavor to answer as many questions as I can so the customer can make an informed decision to repair or replace their appliance. Over the years this can add up to a lot of savings for families.
They also taught me the value of continuing education which is why I attend monthly training to keep up with advancing technology. Home appliances are advancing just like other technology, and you benefit when we stay up-to-date.
I have continued the family business with Pehl’s Appliance operating out of Rockford, IL. Together with my wife, Hannah, we continue to practice our family values when dealing with our customers.
